We have an excellent long term position of *ETL Tester* based out of
*Beaverton,
OR* area with one of our Client. We are looking for someone who has working
knowledge of *BI/DW test and development experience, Good understanding of
ETL, Informatica, Cognos etc.,* and can provide his/her expertise in this

*Job Description:*

   - Create test plans, test data , data validation SQL scripts and analyze
   test results
   - setup and maintain test environments
   - Design and test ETL processes in Oracle and Hadoop platforms
   - Write and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures
   - Collaborate with Data Analysts, ETL developers, and other stakeholders
   on requirements and design
   - Develop scalable and reusable processes and automation frameworks for
   analyzing data and delivering ongoing quality metrics (leveraging *SQL,
   PL SQL, UNIX,* *PYTHON* and other tools)
   - Plan and conduct testing on Cognos and Tableau reports

*Qualifications*:

   - Four or more years of development or test development experience in
   BI/DW
   - Expertise in Data analysis, Data modeling, Database design, Data
   migration, and Business intelligence solutions
   - Experience with Informatica PowerCenter


   - Strong understanding of Datawarehouse, Big Data and BI Analytics
   concepts
   - Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL Oracle, Informatica, Cognos & Tableau
   - Demonstrated experience implementing automation frameworks using
   scripting languages/tools like Shell, Java, Python, DVO
   - Hands-on experience with Hadoop and tools such as Hive, Sqoop, Pig,
   Impala and Spark is preferred
   - Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with iterative (Agile/Scrum)
   and waterfall development methodologies
   - Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguous requirements
   - Experience working on an Agile team using test driven development
