*Java Developer* Location – Georgetown, Kentucky Duration – 6 months Interview – Phone/Skype ok. Face to face if local. *Role Description :* Designs, develops, conducts full testing and supports production implementation as well as post implementation warranty period. Has a wider view of the system integration points and potential impacts for design decisions to new/existing systems and downstream processes. *General Description : * Design, develop, test, implement and support enterprise systems. Troubleshoot, solve problems and recommend solutions. *Requirements/Must Have : * · Extensive experience (5-8+ years) developing enterprise web based applications using Java and best-practice approaches to achieve a high degree of component reuse. · Strong development experience with Java and WebSphere version 8.x, Rational (RAD) tools · Strong development experience with integration of WebSphere, WebSphere Portal, Oracle, DB2 · Very Strong development experience with foundational Java technologies (e.g. Java Frameworks (Struts, Spring,), JSP and JavaScript). · Strong experience refactoring code and leading code reviews. · Candidate will possess advanced SQL knowledge and skill. · Strong communication and documentation skills (verbal and written). · Expertise in the design of N-tier web applications. · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. · Creative thinking for providing innovative solutions. · Self Starter.
