Experience of physical data modeling, ideally in the healthcare sector, using Teradata ,Sql Server,DB2, Salesforce.com,XML, etc. ? Full BI life cycle experience. ? Data analysis activities to capture data requirements clearly, completely and correctly, and represent them in a formal and visual way through the data models ? Comfortable liaising with senior client personnel to establish requirements and discuss potential systems development ? Ability to interpret business requirements in terms data model design ? Demonstrable technical expertise in Data Warehouse design ? Extensive use of common modeling tools ? Erwin/Sybase Powerdesigner ? Excellent communication skills ? interviewing, preparation and delivery of presentations and reports ? Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients ? Basic project planning experience ? Exposure on ETL concepts , tools and process flow. ? Responsible for developing and maintaining a formal description of the data and data structures - this can include data definitions, logical and physical data models, data dictionaries and understanding the source and target data and build the data mapping etc. ? High level data architecture documentation. Development of a data strategy and design specifications. Strategy and design for managing History data ? Ability to implement Change Data Capture in new or existing environments ? Needs to make sure that data integration is based on a common metadata framework and that the integrated data is presented to the business as valid information. ? Provide guidance on decisions that could affect future direction, such as where or how to implement a particular application and its supporting tables. ?
