Hope you’re doing great, Please find the requirement details as follows *Job Title: *Software Engineer - II *Location: *San Jose *Duration:* 6 Months *Job Description:* *Primary Job Responsibilities:* • Are you excited about moving Peta bytes of data across different platforms • Development and Deployment of Data Integration Solutions • Develop industry standard ETL applications using Open Source Real Time ETL tools such as Storm, Kafka, Spark, Java and Python etc • Develop solutions to address complex problems in ETL and data movement • Develop solutions to stream data from different sources and apply real time transformations • Drive architecture, design, implementation of components, applications and services transforming and transferring massive amount of data from diverse sources to diverse destinations using a variety of Big Data technologies and platforms • Work with product management, quality assurance and operations teams to ensure delivering high quality and high performance products with high availability and low maintenance • Understand customer requirements on integrations with our existing Big Data technologies and platforms, transform requirements to quality code • Leadership, critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills • Triage infrastructure issues and drive to resolution *Job Requirements:* • Strong experience in Java and ETL development in Java • Experience with large, diverse teams spread across the globe. • Experience with databases and ETL technologies • Experience with Unix-like systems, such as Linux and/or SunOS • Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, Storm, Spark, Yarn, Flume and other big data solution, including installation, configuration and operations • Knowledge about databases, data warehousing and ETL technologies • Strong engineering skills: modular design, data structures, algorithms, building tools, testing and operational aspects. *Basic Qualifications:* • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent • Passionate about programming.
