Rate : $60/hr on C2C

*Job Description:*

Seeking to add a PeopleSoft HCM Technical Developer to the current
PeopleSoft HCM Support team. This developer will support the DPS's new
reports development and enhancements of current business processes.
Interested candidates must be local to the Detroit area.  This position
will require regular travel within the city to various administration sites
to participate in meetings as necessary.  The selected candidate must be
available to start upon approval of the position.  This role reports to the
Executive Director of Applications and is required for at least 40 hours
per week Mon to Fri.  Overtime and weekends must be pre-approved by the CIO.

Role:  Desired experience for this role includes, but is not limited to the
following:

• PeopleSoft Implementation and Upgrade experience including, data
conversion, custom extensions, interface building, testing and system tuning

• Experience with disaster recovery/failover planning is a plus

• 3-5 years’ experience with PeopleSoft system/security administration

• 2-5 years debugging and end-user support experience PeopleSoft version
8.x or higher

• Ability to elicit and document business requirements and technical
specifications to translate into design documents for development

• Ability to research and define opportunities for business process
re-engineering that create efficiencies by leveraging the ERP delivered
functionality

• Candidate must have exemplary customer service, presentation, oral and
written communication skills

• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum
direction.


*Experience Level:*

• Minimum 5-years of direct development experience in PeopleSoft HCM

• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Human Resources, Payroll, Time & Labor,
Benefits, SQL, Application Engine, PS Query and SQR in supported versions
of PeopleSoft

• Experience with Application Designer, Application Engine, People Code,
Process Scheduler Manager, SQL *Plus, People Tools, and, Oracle 9i or
higher Experience must include the ability to: a) Maintain and create
programs for conversion of data from legacy system to PeopleSoft b) Design,
plan, code and document technical solutions c) Test technical solutions d)
Debug, fix and retest technical solutions e) Migrate technical solutions

• Strong development and technical skills to Analyze, document, and
evaluate alternative solutions within a team environment is required • Must
be able to develop complex reporting solutions utilizing SQR, Application
Engine, Crystal, and other tools

• Has the ability to understand PeopleSoft table structures and must also,
assist in preparation for the re-installation to PeopleSoft Version 9.0
