Please find a new requirement below and send me if you have any matched resume for below position *Location: Glendale, CA* *Contract: 6 months* *Position Summary:* In this role, the Software Engineer will be defining, designing, implementing, testing and analyzing solutions for high-performance web systems written in *Ruby, Sinatra, and Rails* in a data intensive production environment. The Software Engineer will also review, analyze, and report on emerging technologies; develop and/or integrate APIs and provide support for all clients that use API services; provide platform support and maintenance; document code and system designs; develop prototypes rapidly for evaluation and validation purposes; create robust production applications and perform data processing and data analysis. *Responsibilities: * - Build functional applications to support high-traffic websites, mobile devices and other consumer-facing delivery networks - Collaborate with web, mobile and other engineering teams to design and integrate SOA - Develop prototypes and applications using agile practices - Test, debug, and refine software to produce the required product - Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency *Position Requirements* - BS or MS in Computer Science or technical/quantitative field - 5+years professional experience · Experience with service-oriented, and object-oriented programming · Strong *Ruby* Programming skills with experience on at least one of the frameworks from *Rails* or *Sinatra.* · Experience with *REST* based service API · Strong database programming skills*.
