*Project Description*
Position : *IT Engagement/Program Manager (QA Focus) * Location : Siemens Tarrytown, NY Duration : 3+Months *Job description* Employee will report to the Vice President of Consulting Services. Primary responsibilities will include: • Plan all aspects of projects including estimation, project plan, detailed WBS, and resource needs for waterfall/agile/iterative methodology projects (Project Management & Program Management) • Implement plans, manage and report project progress, participates in technical and process reviews • Measure all performance parameters as per project objectives, create improvements plans and implement them within the project or program (Project & Operational Metrics) • Resource management for engagements with 10-50 resources with appropriate team and leadership structure (Resource Management) • Interface and negotiate with the customer with regard to project estimates, schedules and deliverables • Communicate project status to client, senior management and all stakeholders on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis (Excellent Communication) • Coordinate with Management, Customers and Delivery Team to resolve open issues and track them to closure • Ensure complete customer focus in delivery, including managing requirements, reviews, obtaining acceptance plans and feedback • Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor with key internal and external stakeholders • Forge relationships with and influence clients’ senior technical staff • Analyze architecture requirements and guide technical solutions • Advise on technical architecture and deployment options for existing or new projects (Proposal Creation) • Develop and maintain SOWs and Change Orders (Engagement Management) • Collaborate on analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment decisions with the client’s consulting and engineering teams to ensure the quality and consistency of software (Solution Architecture guidance and design recommendations) • Accountable for project planning, operational management, and quality *Required Skills and Experience* • Managed Development, Support and Testing projects for business applications/technical products for at least 5 years • Should have worked in direct client-facing roles and have good client engagement and relationship management experience (Client management and stakeholder communication) • Experience in formal project management methodologies • Experience managing customers with global delivery resources *Skills Mandatory* • Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and principles • Ability to manage large teams and ability to mentor and lead project managers and team leads, while leading a high performance team • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage customer relations from the client project manager to the CIO level relationships • Experience working in and managing the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) • Expertise in estimating, planning, and managing software development projects • Strong understanding of project management principles and processes *Desirable* The following skills are desirable and a definite plus when considering candidates: • Knowledge of/experience in the Manufacturing industry • Experience in managing Test Automation projects (highly desirable) • Experience with enterprise application integration • Experience with managing proposal /pre-sales and sales cycles to win new customers/projects *Please send resumes to hab...@mutexsystems.com <hab...@mutexsystems.com>* *Thanks & Regards,* *Habeeb Rahman* 50, Cragwood Road | Suite#224 |South Plainfield | NJ-07080 Work: 908-822-8515 Ext: 22*|*Fax*:* 732-909-2191 hab...@mutexsystems.com | www.Mutexsystems.com <http://www.mutexsystems.com/> Mutex Systems is a Minority Business Enterprise certified by NMSDC NOTE: If this email message has reached you in error and if you do not wish to receive similar messages in future, please reply with "REMOVE" in the subject line.
