Max Rate: $60hr

"The Technical Delivery Manager role supporting Release Delivery is
ultimately responsible for the orchestration of testing and preparations of
implementation of code deployments to IT Production environments.

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:



*10+ years in IT with at least 5 years as a Release Manager*

*Solid understanding of the PMI / PMBOK Methodology.*

*PMP Certification is a plus*

Confidently makes presentations to large and executive audiences.

Act as liaison & gatekeeper between all functional groups.

Develop lessons learned documentation and implement improvements.

Report statuses via client defined processes.

Communicate, explain difficult concepts.

Persuades others to adopt a point of view.

Coordinate all deployment activities and ensure each release is deployed on
time and with quality.

Work closely with development and testing teams to gain and maintain
environment versioning information, such as application version, OS
version, and versions of other third party tools.

Identify and coordinate supporting resource(s).

Identify release risks and manage the tasks necessary to mitigate each risk
and facilitate issue resolution.

Coordinate and facilitate concise but effective meetings required to ensure
deployment readiness and lead issue resolution across the departments and
teams.

Develop an in depth knowledge of the existing operational components,
systems and application dependencies.

Provide reports and critical detailed timelines to facilitate software
planning to all impacted parties.

Perform as lead on large deployments requiring multiple release managers.

Functional/Technical Skills

MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)

Understanding of infrastructure and software development project lifecycles.

Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many
assignments.

Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing set of
complex projects.

Expert technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous
deliverables.

Must be able to work nights and weekends when required.

Strong organization skills.

Excellent people management skills.

Comfortable in a rapidly changing, multi-tasking environment.

High-energy, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.

Strong negotiation skills.

Ability to triage across multiple processes with confidence and drive
resolution.



Experience

5+ years of experience in project management, with proven history of
successful project management within the telecommunications industry.

Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large complex projects.

Have strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Ability to manage complex projects independently.

Established leadership skills in a matrix organization structure."
