Position: Senior Business Intellegence Architect/Developer
Location: Greater Boston area
Duration: 6-8++ months
Desired Skills and Experience
Full lifecycle experience surrounding large scale data warehousing and
business intelligence solutions
Up to date on SQL skills:
SQL 2008 R2 at a minimum, SSAS a must
Exposure to SQL 2012 a plus
Experience with large scale DW solutions (SQL PDW, Teradata,
Netezza) a plus
Experimentation with NoSQL technologies and Hadoop Azure is a major
plus
Several years hands-on SQL Server development experience including:
DW schema design, implementation and optimization
ETL framework design, implementation and management
UDM & OLAP design and implementation
Physical implementation, optimization, backup, DR strategies
TSQL, MDX, DAX
Advanced SQL Server features such as “always-on” technologies,
scalability, audit and compliance
Design, develop and deploy SSIS packages
Design, develop and deploy SSRS and PowerPivot solutions
SharePoint and .Net development experience is a plus
Demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following
methodologies and concepts:
Large Scale DW/”Big Data”
Dashboards and scorecards
Dimensional/ Star Schema design
ETL frameworks
Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality Services (DQS) is a
plus
