*Direct Client Requirement:*

*Position:* HP Service Manager Support Analyst

*Location:* Bloomington, IL

*Duration:* 6 Months

Background Check Required (Criminal Background Check/Credit Check/Drug
Screen): Yes



*Primary Job Responsibilities include:*

   - Extensive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
   for HP Service Manager
   - Serve as a HP Service Manager expert on project efforts which impact
   HP Service Manager
   - Provide 3rd level Problem Management support for HP Service Manager
   - Ensure that HP Service Manager is consistently stable and available
   - Provide training and support documentation to the 2nd level
   administration team
   - Effectively understand State Farm's Service Management guidelines and
   principles
   - Creation, enhancement, and maintenance of PERL scripts utilized to
   automate administration functions

*Required Skills & Experiences:*

   - Must have experience supporting HP Service Manager (version 9.x or
   higher) in a large scale environment
   - ITIL experience
   - Must have experience with LINUX
   - Must be familiar with Service Manager internal components:(dbdict,
   datadict, display screen, display options, states. processes, format
   control, link records, rad expressions, javascript, database schema)
   - Must have scripting experience (perl, shell, etc)
   - Must be familiar with Apache/Tomcat Web Servers
   - Must have experience with Oracle Databases
   - Must have a working knowledge of SSL encryption
   - Experience with Java preferred
   - Experience with Web Services is a plus
   - General knowledge of performance tools
   - Ability to identify failure points and develop quick workarounds
   - Experience with single sign-on via Kerberos preferred.

*Typical Years of Experience:*

   - Requires a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience.
