There will also be some capital project implementation requirements as part of this position. Basic Skills: Operationally focused with in depth troubleshooting skills using various debug tools available for the devices in use in our Network Operations and Security areas. Experience with most of the following is expected: Cisco Routers / Switches & MPLS, F5 load balancers, Solar Winds Performance and Configuration Manager, Ciena Optical Gear - SONET & DWDM, River Bed Network Optimization, Checkpoint Firewalls, Juniper Firewalls (SRX/NSM/IC/Junos Space), Trustwave Proxy, RSA Secure ID, Niksun Responsibilities: · Manage trouble incidents and change requests · Manage time to ensure SLA/SLT are met · Must be able to work independently with customers to trouble-shoot issues with little oversight · Must be analytical/diligent/accurate while working in regulated environments · Must be knowledgeable/confident while presenting information to external auditors · Manage project tasks and schedule deadlines This person should also have basic overall knowledge of network operations and security infrastructure to understand the whole picture to provide operational support. Some of the primary responsibilities with this role will be: · Must have in-depth knowledge of firewall rule set creation and maintenance · Must be knowledgeable of network protocols and operations · Linux knowledge is very helpful · Strong vendor management skills · Excellent written and oral skills. -- Thanks & Regards!
