This position is on the software side · Looking for the right candidate to deliver, enable and provide support with No Touch Release Management · Looking for a candidate to deliver Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) · Deliver fast and improve quality of code and reduce time from Source Code Management through production · Lean and Agile Methodology · Ideal fit would be a candidate from a small IT Shop (this candidate would be a jack of all trades vs a candidate from an enterprise environment) *High, *Best of the Best, · Someone with 10+ years of experience/education in Build and Release Role or DevOps Role. Exceptional knowledge in the field of DevOps and Build and Release Engineering · Programs regularly (solid) abilities) with a variety of languages including scripting and shell. · Expert in several DevOps tools (especially Urban Code, Jenkins or AnthillPro). · Previously experience in architecting large CI/CD systems. · 50% of day coding/automation, 50% strategy and guidance *Middle* Experienced Contributor Role · Someone with 5+ years of experience DevOps Role or in Build and Release Engineering Role · 5+ years programming in scripting language (python, ruby, etc) and/or has significant experience in an object orient language like java. · Experience in several DevOps tools(Urban Code, Jenkins, Anthillpro, etc) , enough to know their way around the tools. · 3+ years shell scripting · Good knowledge in the field of DevOps · Previously experience in architecting small to medium sized CI/CD systems · 75% of day coding/automation *Low,* New in Role looking to expand into a new space (entry level candidate in DevOps role but not new to programming) · 2+ years experience in DevOps Role or Build and Release Engineering Role · Basic understanding and knowledge of DevOps principles and concepts · Exposure to DevOps tools · 2+ years programming in scripting language and/or has significant experience in an object orient language like Java. · Solid software engineer would be potential candidate if they have the strong desire to get into DevOps. Software Engineering abilities would need to be above average/very strong to make up for lack of DevOps skills.
