*Project Location* *Snellville, GA* *Duration* *6+ Months/Contract* *Interview mode: - Phone + SkypeVisa: GC / Citizen* *JOB DESCRIPTION* · Candidate will be joining a growing team of software engineers building web, mobile and middle-tier interfaces for a cutting edge cloud platform, in a leading Healthcare company developing state of the art products and services with a strong focus on the end user experience. · The team is focused on advanced Big Data analytical systems utilizing the latest processing engines, cloud platform web and mobile user interfaces, and industry leading healthcare quality measurement software products. · The team environment is mostly senior talent, close-knit, progressive and Agile/Scrum. · Candidate will be utilizing Hadoop and MPP database related technologies such as Hive, M/R, Spark, Greenplum and others to design and implement solutions for bulk and streaming ‘real time’ analytics. · This is a critical, high visibility role, and a great opportunity to make a huge impact and gain recognition. *Responsibilities:* · Mentor and serve as an advocate for best practices; · Design, develop and maintain solutions for *Terabyte scale data analytics;* · Design, develop and maintain services and interfaces to allow for cross product communication, data analytics, reporting, and management; · Involved with full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, implementation, and testing; · Work cooperatively in an *Agile team structure* to deliver value to our clients, internal and external. *Qualifications:* · Degree in computer science or related field of study; · Experience developing Hadoop based applications is critical; · Experience creating and maintaining web services; · Experience in C# and Windows based development a plus; · Experience developing for database technologies such as MSSQL or Postgres; · Experience writing parallelized data driven algorithms.
