*Project Location* *Santa Monica, CA* *Duration* *6+ Months/Contract * *Interview mode: - Phone + F2F Visa: GC/ USC* *JOB DESCRIPTION * *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* *The Web/Portal Development Team is responsible for the development and support of all our client’s public facing Web Applications. This position affords the opportunity to:* - Lead a development team - Sustain and improve the architectural integrity of the application(s) - Promote good implementation practices, design, coding standard, testing, code review, etc - Estimate implementation duration for projects, features, etc - Assist in managing projects of various sizes. - Support product management activities. - Contribute to the requirements gathering process - Guide the development process - Translate requirements to design and then to implementation The Java Team Lead Web/Portal Development will contribute heavily to a planned redesign of the system architecture and functional components. In addition, the team lead will provide all level 2 application support request. Additionally, this Java Team Lead will manage the Web/Portal Development Team work load, and will be the main point of contact for all Portal request and question.
