*Project Location* *Philadelphia ,PA* *Duration* *12+ Months/ Contract * *Interview Process: Phone + Skype Visa: Any* *JOB DESCRIPTION* *Location: PA & Telecommute (will need to be onsite 100% of the time for the 1st month or so, then role will become onsite / offsite). Client prefers local candidates or candidates that are willing to relocate to the project.* *Client is looking for someone who "lives and breathes data warehousing". The client is looking for someone who has BUILT a data warehouse. * *Must have strong experience with ETL and SQL and at least 3 years recent experience in the healthcare industry working with payer and/or clinical data. * *This is a client facing role, so candidates must have very strong communication skills.* *Job description:* The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst will perform the detailed data profiling, source to target mapping and assist with the testing work in support of the data warehouse integration and reporting activities. The individual should possess the following skills: · *Previous experience performing data profiling of source systems and source to target mapping to a data warehouse model is a must (with healthcare payer data and/or clinical data)* · Strong hands on experience with SQL queries using databases such as, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and Vertica is required · Deep understanding of ETL and how to write transform scripts · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Must be a team player. This role is central to the overall DW team · Strong organizational skills, documentation skills are required.
