The Ariba Network processes over $650B of commerce annually. This is more than the total commerce processed by Amazon and eBay combined and is growing at an exponential rate! As a key member of the production operations DBA team, you will work closely with other DBAs, systems administrators, software engineers and production operations engineers to support production databases in Ariba's 24x7 OnDemand mission critical Cloud services and global engineering teams. You will also provide support in the full development, test and quality control phases from unit testing to production rollout on 24x7 database systems. You are required to have deep Hana fundamental skills with real world experience, deep performance troubleshooting experience and database system tuning skills with OLTP, OLAP and DW database designs. The successful candidate must be self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills. *As a DBA you will:* · Manage *Ariba/SAP Hosting Operations databases in a 24x7 mission-critical production environment.* · Have a deep understanding of *SAP Hana in-memory database technology as well as hardware.* · Work on performance tuning and troubleshooting of *Hana databases.* · Learn and adopt additional database technologies such as *Hadoop, Oracle and MySQL to provide development and operational support.* · Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations across *Hana database platforms.* · Plan and execute database cloning cycles from production to non-production *Hana databases.* · Be a self motivated individual driving projects to successful completion with minimal supervision. · Have excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills. *Basic Qualifications:* · At least 7 years of experience in a production *database environment with 1-2 years current experience in Hana*. · At least 7 years of database query optimization and performance tuning experience with 1-2 years current experience in Hana. · At least 7 years of experience configuring *Linux systems and tuning kernel parameters for database use with 1-2 years experience in Hana.* · At least 7 years shell scripting experience in a scripting language such as Python, Bash, etc. · At least 2 years experience with Hana installation, licensing and support. *Preferred Qualifications:* · At least 7 years DBA experience in relational database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, etc. · Expert level performance tuning skills with *Hana on Linux databases.* · Expert level experience with *Hana clustered databases.* · Expert level experience with *Hana HA and DR solutions.* · Expert level experience with *Hana backup and recovery.* · Expert level experience · Has understanding and hands-on exposure to other technologies such as *Hadoop, HBase and MySQL.* · Has deep understanding of storage, backup and recovery within the context of Hana databases. · Adept at using source code revision systems such as Perforce, Subversion or CVS. *Please send us the following details along with the updated resume for immediate Consideration* Full Name: Contact Number: Email Address: Visa Status: Expected hourly Rate: Total IT Exp: Current Location: Willing to Relocate: Start Availability: *Thanks &Regards* Satya ERP and ERP Corp 48521 Warm Springs Blvd , Suite 307A, Fremont, CA 94539.
