Job Title: QA engineer with Java or VB scripting with Domain knowledge of Risk,

CCAR QA will serve as a primary interface for the End to End testing of the
platform. The successful candidate will play a key role to effectively create a
test strategy and efficiently co ordinate the execution of component,
Integration and Trial Run testing responsibilities to deliver defect free
software that is compliant with business specifications and regulatory
requirements
Main Duties
Good experience of testing functionalities thoroughly for large applications
Ability to come up with test artefacts when not enough documentation is
available
The person must possess technology knowledge in following
Programming skills with Java or VB Scripting and unit testing
frameworks such as JUnit or Test Ng.
Exposure with using testing tools QC & JIRA, Selenium will be a PLUS.
Solid understanding of Test Driven and Continuous integration way of
software development process.
Expertise in creating and implementing detailed test strategy.
Planning test scope / approach for iterative testing, including identification
and prioritization of key test objectives / scenarios and determining
methodology for validating test results.
Extensive experience in running the defect triages and providing leadership
and serving as an escalation point for resolution of issues identified in
testing.
Ability to multi-task effectively and also be able to work independently on
multiple projects.
Quick learner, self-starter with ability to drive execution and problem solve
independently.
Solid understanding of QA methodology
Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of QA experience
Bachelors or Masters Degree
Experienced in various testing methodologies and test management / automation
tools
Interacting closely with development teams to identify, isolate, fix and
deploy automated solutions to test software.
Collaborate and co-ordinate with all stake holders to implement automated test
solutions.
Help manage test environment and test data ensuring support of test efforts
and schedules.
Participate in functional specification and design reviews.
Experienced in working in a direct and matrixed team structure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate across
business and technology stakeholders
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and strong focus on internal
controls
Ability to deliver in a dynamic environment
Commitment to meeting deadlines
Experienced in comparing large data sets
Preferred Qualifications
Domain knowledge of Risk, Finance, Treasury and CCAR
Experience in financial and regulatory systems architecture
Experience reporting and presenting test approaches and outcomes to a major
financial regulator

Knowledge of trade life cycle, trading applications testing and bookings -
critical
Good unix skills and SQL skills - critical
Knowledge of Equities products, Synthetics would be added advantage but not a
must
Develop and execute grey box tests for applications that support the cash
equities system. Interacting closely with development teams to identify,
isolate, and fix software defects.
Ability to work independently on multiple projects
Experience with Test Driven Testing process
Commitment to delivering great software and releasing it quickly, efficiently
and with increasing quality
Preferred Qualifications
Cash Equity business knowledge
Bookings and Settlements knowledge
4-5+ years QA experience
