The Architect is responsible for the architecture, design, planning, and overall management of Enterprise ETL. The ETL architect will influence a comprehensive range of improved data delivery capabilities to modernize our information and application infrastructures. ETL Architect must have strong collaboration skills, a deep technical knowledge and experience that will result in a strategic and flexible architectural direction. *Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop integration architecture with ability to deploy data integration using a wide variety of data delivery styles, and deployment patterns of growing demand for data delivery capabilities beyond bulk/batch movements. Identify the capabilities for various data delivery styles and use cases that the enterprise will need based on short and long term business requirements Develops overall strategic ETL architecture direction and provides a comprehensive road map for the company ETL needs Provides technical leadership for ETL architecture, design and development Serves as a liaison between the solutions architects, data architects and the project ETL team to ensure the data integration requirements are understood and interpreted correctly by the technical team. Collaborate with database admins, ETL admins and system admins to optimize the implementation Defines and estimates project proposals related to ETL design and development Develops and helps institute best practice, methodologies and standards with regard to ETL and Data Integration architectureExpertise Skills: 10+ years of overall Information systems, services / consulting experience of which the recent 5+ years in ETL architecture Possess a thorough understanding of data warehouse concepts and data modeling fundamentals Experience leading technical project efforts including project planning, design, build, test, and data conversion/migration/integration Full life cycle experience in data warehousing, data integration, data movement and data management Experience with Informatica ETL solutions: architecture, design and development of ETL maps Understanding of Database systems used for Enterprise Data Warehousing such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, etc. Hands on Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange, Informatica Data Quality, Data Masking and Test Data Management Hands on experience with Data discovery, Data profiling, Data cleansing, DQ metrics, Balance and Control Hands on experience in Informatica operations architecture that includes versioning, multi-user and multi-stream approach Understanding and experience with data modeling, 3rd normal form and dimensional (Star schema, Snowflake) Understanding and experience with other Informatica ETL solutions (Data Subsets, MDM, Integration Hub) Demonstrated abilities with other ETL and data integration technologies/tools (SQL Server Integration Services, Acord XML standards, XML-parsing, etc.) Hands-on experience with Visio, PowerPoint, etc. for architecture diagramming and presentationDesirable Skills: Understanding of Big Data platform (Hadoop, Hortonworks, Cloudera, etc.) Big Data related data integration that accommodates extreme levels of data volume, velocity, variety and complexity *Thank you,* *Vijay,* *|| Phone: 732 694 6000 Ext 784 || E-mail ID : [email protected] <[email protected]> ||* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
