Please find the below requirement if you have any consultants please send profiles to [email protected]. *Position: BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ARCHITECT* *Location: Atlanta, GA* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Rate:DOE* *Position Summary Description: * The Business Intelligence Architect is responsible for defining Data Warehouse or Data Mart solutions that deliver diverse business intelligence and reporting capabilities for use in our customer facing solutions, custom projects, and ad-hoc analysis. This includes establishing architecture and standards, metadata strategy, data quality strategy, ETL, Master Data Management (MDM), as well as Information Integration strategy and standards. The ideal candidate works closely with Development, Systems, and other technical and business teams to deliver Business Intelligence solutions that are reliable, flexible, and scalable. Duties: Leverage data architecture and warehousing skills to build a leading edge Business Intelligence platform encompassing the entire life-cycle including data integration, transformation, logical and physical design implementing industry best practices Collaborate with teams and other stakeholders to assess business and system requirements to develop and implement scalable Business Intelligence, Dashboard and reporting solutions that meets current and future needs Collaborates with the technical team and product management in the design and development of custom Business Intelligence dashboards, metrics and reports. Gathering and analyze business requirements and transforming them into innovative BI solutions Lead Data Mart Dimensional Modeling efforts including defining the Data Model Design and Naming standards from the Database to the BI Layer to ensure consistency Creation and maintenance of physical data models with Oracle RDBMS Creation and maintenance of data dictionary for data models Participate in the design, development, documentation and application of best practices and procedures Document and diagram the proposed solutions to present to IT groups and project stakeholders; prepare functional specifications and data dictionaries REQUIREMENTS: 8 - 12 years of technical experience in Designing, Developing and implementing large (multi-terabyte) Business Intelligence solutions Hands on experience in DW/DM technical development with strong understanding of data management life-cycle in establishing end-to-end business intelligence architecture Experience with various methodologies (e.g. Inmon, Kimball) for creation of data models for data warehouses and data marts Ability to participate in BI Project planning activities, architectural reviews, development, design, and implementation of the BI solutions In depth understanding of data integration best practices, leading industry applications and features Comprehensive knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling practices and implementation techniques and where they are best utilized Must know database concepts (relational and multi-dimensional) Has strong understanding of data normalization rules, denormalization and other techniques to support reporting and analytics Expertise in Oracle RDBMS, Options and advanced features is required (e.g. Oracle Partitioning Option, Materialized Views and Query Rewrite, Parallel Execution, etc.) Needs to have advanced Oracle SQL and strong PL/SQL skills (e.g. Analytical functions, Aggregation Functions, Lag/Lead analysis, MERGE, etc.) In-Memory DB, Big Data or NoSQL database experience is a plus Experience with ETL Design, query performance tuning and process optimization skills Experience with leading ETL tools is required (e.g. Pentaho Data Integration (Kettle), Jaspersoft ETL, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, etc.) Experience with one of the Leading Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Pentho, Tableau, Jaspersoft , SAP Business Objects, Cognos, OBIEE, etc.) Strong technical skills and working knowledge of OLAP and other data management tools and methodologies Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience Regards, Sudheer [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
