Resource Must have  5- 8 years of experience  in DBA areas.

Strong knowledge in both Oracle and SQL server DBA activities.

Able to handle L3/L2 level support activities independently.

Must of Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and must have
excellent communication skills.

*. Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture and SQL server*

*2. Cloning database - Using RMAN *

*3. Shell scripting (Also Power shell scripting will be good if we have)*

*4. Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage manager)*

*5. Should be good in Performance tuning and rightly identifying the
problematic area on day to day *

*6. Suggest Developer best practices *

*7. Oracle Enterprise Manager *

*8. Flexibility and willingness to understand the application environment
and to troubleshooting day to day issues*

*9. Cross platform migration of Oracle database which they are currently
doing (Trasportable tablespace) for HP/AIX to virtual boxes (Vblock)*

*10. Prior experience worked in Virtual environment (EMC, Vcenter, Vmware)*

*11. Work closely with Developers/Application team to load data using SQL
loader*

*12. Scheduling RMAN, Export backup in CRON jobs and also monitoring those
in a daily basis*

*13. OPatch Oracle E-business suite *

*14. Good knowledge on RMAN (Recovery manager)*

*15. Experience in different version of Oracle from 8.1.7,9.1, 9.2, 10.2.x
and 11gR2*

*16. Oracle Grid management*

*17. Oracle user management (Roles, Privileges)*

*18. Good knowledge in troubleshooting Oracle PL/SQL, Triggers, SQL queries*

*19. Excellent oral and written communication *

*20. Interaction with different level of team in Zales and also with
support team (Xexor, EMC and Oracle)*

*21. Good knowledge on Middle tier application server (Weblogic, Tomcat)*

*--Test backups to ensure we can meet the business’ Recovery Time
Objectives (RTO)*

*--Troubleshoot SQL Server service outages as they occur, including
after-hours and weekends*

log shipping, mirroring, Windows Azure, or other technologies*

*--Troubleshooting replication and related issues, Provide root cause for
