Title : Java Fullstack developer (Video) Loc : Burbank, CA Duration: 12 months The ideal Consultant is an engineer with a passion for building powerful, functional web experiences in a fast¬moving area like video and games. This Consultant will be responsible for architecting and building backend features and services for Video. This Consultant will be expected to deliver quickly and iteratively in an agile environment while building, breaking, and creating a world class platform. Responsibilities Leading the development of our next generation platform. Design and develop scalable content ¬processing applications and web services using Python and Java. Partner with Product Managers and Designers to develop both internal and guest¬ facing products. Collaborate with iPhone, Android, and Web developers to integrate our features and products. Resolve defects, support testing effort, and deploy production code on a frequent basis. Be a technical pillar for the engineering team through collaboration and mentorship of other engineers. Technical representation of the team to internal and external organizations. Analyze the technical feasibility of product features and provide accurate estimates to guide feature roadmapping from a technical perspective. Define solutions that can be quickly delivered leveraging internal and external resources, based on new or existing products and APIs. Consider the security and privacy implications of new systems and the status of existing ones. Qualifications 8+ years of full software development lifecycle experience with a minimum 3 years as lead developer 6+ years of Web development and Internet Technology experience Knowledge of and experience using ffmpeg Knowledge of browser playback technologies: EME and MSE Strong understanding of video transcoding and playback Knowledge of video DRM systems Strong Internet technologies background including XML, JSON, HTTP Experience developing using Google Cloud products such as Google App Engine Web framework equivalent experience building web pages from database, business layer, and UI Experience with Perl JavaScript/CSS/AJAX/HTML5 skills, including working with Video players Proven experience working with Python and Java Significant exposure to and demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of programming and analysis including design patterns, hardware and software requirements, systems requirements and deployment protocols Experience with Web¬service Development and Restful Design Patterns Experience building use case driven software with Agile Software Development and Test Driven Development methodologies Strong problem solving and a knack at solving technical problems Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work in multiple roles Thanks and Regards Rakesh Agile Tek rak...@agiletekinc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
