Design and develop a real time operational data store model with data controls to feed a third-party database used to provide a 360 degrees view of the customer - Experience with solution design and development of reference architecture - Experience with developing data strategy - Experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modeling in operational data stores and data warehouses - Proficiency in using a data modeling tool - preferably Erwin - Strong SQL skills - Understanding of enterprise service bus (ESB) messaging architecture and integration patterns - Experience in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Campaign Management including rules for coordination of multiple customer interactions and campaign attribution - Experience with Health Care related data such as Clinical, Enrollment and Claims (Medical, Pharmacy ..) data - Excellent communication skills - Desirable experience with developing reference architectures for data warehouses including a big data platform such as Hadoop - Desirable experience in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Campaign Management including rules for coordination of multiple customer interactions and campaign attribution *Role and Responsibility:* - Define enterprise data architecture to meet overall needs of business, across analytic systems and services - Maintain business information model and data flow architecture - Define and refine data standards / reference architectures for use by specific project teams in developing technical designs - Assess industry standards including HIPAA and ARRA for information models, and incorporate them into the company information architecture standards where appropriate - Provide input into the Meta-Data strategy to describe and administer data, and provide data lineage tracking ability - Develop and maintain data interoperability between source and target systems - Participate in the translation of business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse and semantic layer designs - Design internal and external data interfaces to ensure that database development needs are according to CareSource standards, HIPAA ARRA - Coordinates with the business team to ensure that the business model is accurately represented - Design and develop a technical architecture for integration of the data warehouse - Design and develop the architecture, roadmap, and standards for the enterprise data warehouse that will align with the customer business and IT objectives - Participate in activities with database analysts and other database personnel to determine appropriate database deployment strategies and parameters to ensure cost effectiveness and system efficiency - Provide technical thought leadership and actively participate in the design, implementation, and roll-out efforts Evaluates reusability of current data for additional analysis, while maintaining integrity and confidentiality of information in accordance with Minimum Use Necessary policies - Make hardware sizing and configuration recommendations - Work with project managers to scope projects and develop a statement of work, project plan, and risk analysis - Perform any other job related instructions, as requested *Education / Experience:* · Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, business intelligence or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required · Minimum of five (5) years actively engaged in data architecture and Business · Intelligence architecture required · Three (3) years of healthcare data and information management experience preferred · Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a lead or supervisory role required · Experience on large multi terabytes data warehouses required *Required Competencies / Knowledge / Skills: * - Expert level work experience in a *TeraData environment and traditional relational database* - Expert level working experience *using TeraData Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, and TPump*) - *Expert level SQL skills * - Completed several Business Intelligence project life-cycles - Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity - Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action - Strong Experience with leading a team of people to deliver results - Excellent communication, presentation and written skills - Must be able to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders - Proven ability to design scalable solutions using traditional and agile method - Strong knowledge of leading concepts in Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data Governance and Data Stewardship - Knowledge of Systems Architecture principles and processes - Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and methodologies -
