*Project Location* *Downtown Chicago, IL* *Duration* *12+ Months Contract* *Interview Process: Phone + F2F (Locals Only)* *Visa:* *Only GC and Citizen* *Job Description*: *Primary Responsibilities:* · Maintain firewalls, anti-virus software and respond to security issues. · Research latest trends in security and suggest improvements to bank’s environment. · Utilize Active Directory to provision user access in a least privilege manner and manage system configurations. · Track and complete security-related issues via trouble ticket system. · Collaborate with different areas of IT in order to provide security solutions for the bank. · Generate reports to track technical environment settings and events. · Create reports on technical security risk assessment and network diagrams. · Provide timely reports on the status of projects as well as any unforeseen issues to management and to business units. · Documentation of security policies and procedures. · Responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of security controls and ensuring adherence to bank policies. *Required Experience* · Interest in working on a broad range of IT projects (VoIP, Database, Network, IaaS) · Must have good communication (verbal, written, and listening) skills. · Advanced knowledge of IT security controls. (anti-virus, IDS/IPS, firewalls, Active Directory, threat intelligence, incident response, etc.) · Knowledge of networking technologies · Advanced knowledge of encryption and authentication technologies · Will require the ability to be a self-starter and to work independently as well as in a team setting.
