*Position:: Business Analyst* *Location:: San Jose CA* *Duration:: Contract role(3 Months with possible extension)* Description • The Business Analyst will be responsible for reviewing existing business process for Product Life cycle for Harmonic and TVN and identify process gaps in product fulfillment processes . • Design and implement efficient, effective and scalable systems solutions to support those processes, leveraging industry best practices and standards. • This individual must have strong subject matter expertise product life cycle management processes. • This individual will be the key liaison between business users, IT and any other stakeholders, working closely with all to maintain alignment with business goals and priorities. • Additionally, the individual will be expert at interpreting customer needs and translating them into the application and operational requirements needed by the technical team to build, test and the systems. Responsibilities: • Review process and define the requirements and scope for improving existing process. • Conduct workshops with product managers and other user groups to understand the product requirements to support all features and functions of the products. • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs, delivering an answer that drives to best practice. Qualifications: • Experience in PLC process and product data management.
