This resource will perform quality analysis with minimum supervision and direction. The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise data systems. This resource serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. *POSITION of TRUST/SUITABILITY REQUIREMENT: * Please be aware that this position requires a U.S Government Public Trust/Suitability determination. The government investigation for this position includes a credit check. * JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * · Deploy BI solutions and team to establish one or more primary Business Objects Universes. · Perform regular maintenance on Universes for performance · Maintain front-end security of data · Provide user support for data issues · Install software as required · Manage backup and recovery for all Business Intelligence Environments · Provide follow-on support for end-users after training. *EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: *Bachelor’s Degree *EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: * · 12+ years of experience as a Senior Systems Administrator or related job · At least 8 years of total Business Intelligence experience · At least 4 years of Business Objects Experience · In-depth experience designing and developing Business Objects Universes · In-depth experience designing and developing reports with Web Intelligence · Experience installing and maintaining server applications including web servers. · Experience deploying web applications specifically to Apache Tomcat. · Understanding of SAP Business Objects and Data Services architecture. · Experience deploying SAP Business Objects in a standalone and clustered environment. · Provide reusable documentation including environment specific configurations and best practice such as timeout settings, configuring shared network directories, log file maintenance etc. · Experience working in a DW environment. · Excellent SQL skills · Bachelor's Degree · Excellent communications skills Thanks & Regards, Udbhav Mathur Talent Acquisition Specialist *TEKshapers Inc.* Email:- [email protected] <[email protected]> Gtalk: udbhav.intime Tekshapers Inc. – WMBE Firm 1441 E.
