*Duties:*

·         Work with development managers to adjust functional requirements
based on technical feasibility and to coordinate software launch with
overall launch plan

·         Work with managers to understand business and functional
requirements for new features and enhancements.  Provide level of effort
estimates based on project scope and technical complexity.

·         Maintain and administer VMs within our VMware ESXi environment,
as well as work with other IT groups in the installation and testing of new
hardware and software.

·         Build, enhance, support build and deployment tools used by the
development teams for their projects and build, enhance, and support the
developer laptops and virtualized development environments.

·         Create technical documentation for the development teams on how
to utilize the tools, as well as documentation that outlines the defined
processes.

*Required:*

·         Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.

·         A solid experience with at least one object-oriented programming
language. Java is strongly preferred because you'll be building Java tools
and libraries to support other groups.

·         In-depth experience with build tools such as Gradle and Maven.

·         Implementing and maintaining scripts to support automation of
application deployments and various infrastructure tasks.

·         Groovy (Gradle) and Python (WLST).

·         Advanced experience with virtualization technologies such as
VMWare and Virtualbox.

·         Configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).

·         Administering Atlassian tools at a user level. In particular, the
ability to plan and tweak groups and user permissions across JIRA,
Confluence, and Stash.

·         Installing and configuring Splunk, and using it to configure
installations, develop reports, dashboards and other tools to support
various groups.

·         An exceptionally strong Linux and/or Solaris background;
including the ability to plan, build, install, configure, and maintain
virtualized servers.
