Provide both order-of-magnitude and detailed estimates for software development activities and artifacts. Experience in working in ETL environment, with detailed system, *technical analysis skills is a MUST*. *Experience in writing complex SQLs, data profiling, analysis and exposure to data analysis tools is a MUST*. Candidate will be expected to have clear understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling concepts Responsible for Production support analysis, support and maintenance of complex ETL system, Analysis of data lineage across the system, *design of new solution per business requirements, Data modeling and analysis of existing database schema as well as designing new tables and database components as needed* Develops and refines estimating models based on previous project actual and trends to improve accuracy of estimates Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience in similar work environment. · *Minimum of 8+ years of IT work experience focused in software design with emphasis on RUP and UML*. *Skill set*: *Database , SQLs, ETL design analysis, business requirements analysis (ETL tool used is Ab Initio, DB2 for Database and Cognos for BI)* · Must possess technical experience *analyzing and designing computer systems*. Possesses knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and *demonstrated ability to formulate and develop specifications and requirements for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging computer programs* · Provides technical direction for personnel performing system and software development tasks including the review of products for quality · Coordinates with Project Manager to ensure problem solution and customer satisfaction · Makes recommendations for approval of major computer system installations.
