*Job Description:* *Technical/Functional Skills* · Expert knowledge of JEE including design patterns; exposure to EJB a plus, exposure to IBM WAS a huge plus · Knowledge of JPA and associated ORMS (OpenJPA preferable, but Hybernate, EclipseLink, Toplink or equivalent are acceptable) · Advanced knowledge of Oracle · Knowledge of SOA and implementing services · Knowledge of SOAP, with some exposure to RESTful protocols · Knowledge of rules engines such as Drools a plus · Exposure to Jenkins or other CI automata, including Maven, Ant and other build automation *Experience Required* · Must be experienced in doing the hands on work of designing, coding and testing services. · Must be a self-starter, able to quickly understand business requirements, translate them into service specifications and develop quality code. · Must be a team player. Experience in Life Insurance is a plus. Experience with Apache CXF is a big plus (JEE).
