*Project Location* *Basking Ridge, NJ* *Duration* *6+ Months Contract* *Interview Mode: Phone and F2F* *Visa: Any* *Job Description:* Prefer someone commutable to Basking Ridge, NJ - regardless that is where the work will be - about 20% of the time they will commute to Maryland - this will be reimbursed - basically flexible when they need them but 20% is probably right There will be up to 20% travel initially - reimbursed - to another location in Maryland. This position will require a background check and, at this time, only Green Card or Citizenship can be considered. *Responsibilities* 1. Design end-to-end systems using a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, etc.) 2. Setup and configure network equipment including Routers, VPN Gateways, Firewalls and Security appliances 3. Design, setup and configure complex switching environments 4. Interface with immediate and end-customers during pre-sales, design, development and transition phases of programs 5. Generate detailed requirements and design documents and user manuals for products 6. Travel (20%) to customer sites to perform on-site work *Qualifications* 1. Experience with Cisco, PaloAlto, Aruba and other network equipment. Preference given to candidates with experience on more than one vendor 2. Hands on knowledge of Linux and Windows NAT/filter rules; construction of complex forwarding and filtering setups within host OSs. 3.
