*Project Location* *4 Positions: 2 in Phoenix AZ and 2 in Providence RI* *Duration* *6+ Months Contract* *Interview Mode: Phone + F2F* *Visa: Any* *Job Description:* *Details:* Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with 7- 10 years of experience with Cisco switches, telephone technology and applications for a long term contract role. This consultant will have overall responsibilities for network infrastructure support and other duties including Visio drawings of network layout. The consultant must be customer focused and possess strong interpersonal skills. Must be organized and a real team player but have the capability work independently. *Description:* - Previous training in Cisco network hardware such as 6500, 4500, Nexus switches, load balancer and related software. Knowledge of Microsoft office, Visio products. - Reviews, analyzes, evaluates, configure and support organization's network systems. - Develops and tests network infrastructure components such as Switches, routers, Load balancers, etc. - Reviews network build out features and functionality documentation for operational support readiness and enhances as required. - Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. - Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. - Works with engineering groups to develop network documentation for operational readiness. - Provides project support to various Client facilities, performing work such as monitoring, troubleshooting and remediation of network infrastructure. - Works with local vendors to coordinate installation of services including circuits for local and other remote sites. *Need to Have:* - Experience working with Cisco network switches, routers and related components such as load balancer, remote access hardware, and DNS/DHCP environment.. - Strong knowledge and experience of integration with phone system and switch. - Five or more years of experience with Cisco Load Balancers and F5 Load Balancers. - Work plan and run organization, business partners and vendors for operations support and initiatives. - This candidate must have a good knowledge of carrier services and interfaces.
