Title: *Senior-level SAS GRID Administrator* Location: *Dearborn, MI * Duration: 6 Months Interview: Telephonic + Skype *Description and Responsibilities:* SAS is seeking Senior SAS GRID/Platform Administrator to work in Dearborn, MI. The consultant will ensure and manage a large and complex mutli-tier SAS environment. This candidate should have experience administering SAS and GRID. This person will need to have an in depth knowledge of SAS and GRID administration, installation, configuration, monitoring and problem resolution. This person will be working alongside existing SAS Administrator to provide assistance, best practices and resolve problems as well as day-to-day admin tasks. *Qualifications - Essential* • Experience administering SAS platform in a multi-node GRID environment with Linux OS. • SAS In-memory technologies - Experience with Model Manager with VA, HDFS and LASR Analytic Server a plus. • SAS Hadoop technologies (Cloudera) • Appliance with SAS + Greenplum + Hadoop a plus • SAS on an appliance (EMC pivotal) • Understand SAS in-memory and high performance offerings • Demonstrated experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, performance monitoring, performance tuning, problem diagnosis. • Experience with SAS Management Console (including Metadata Management plug-in, Scheduling plug-in, and Folders tab). • Experience creating metadata users and groups • Experience creating metadata libraries and folders • Experience reading through SAS logs to work through problems finding root causes and rectifying. Interfacing with SAS technical is a must. • Experience monitoring grid and make sure that nodes are balanced with SAS generated code running efficiently across grid • Working knowledge of LSF as it pertains to the SAS grid.
