*Job Description: Drupal Developer*

This project position will address two distinct needs: As part of an effort
to retire the existing in-house web host server, numerous sites hosted on
this server must be migrated to other hosting solutions. In the case of
Drupal and WordPress sites, these sites will be moved to the hosting
service. The project will also encompass the discovery and implementations
of systems to support those services which cannot be transferred to the
hosting service.

Client is establishing a Drupal platform service that will provide a
stable, maintainable Drupal environment, managed by hosting service, a
Drupal PaaS provider. Client expects Drupal to be one of the leading
Content Management Systems on campus, used by a significant number of
clients. In order to provide a common look and feel as well as a common
software stack,Client is developing a branded Drupal distribution which
will provide a common tool set for University organizations to leverage in
their web site development efforts. By creating this distribution, we will
reduce the amount of replicated work needed to stand up a Drupal web sites
(such as authentication and authorization, common functionality such as
calendars, multimedia, team profiles, etc.).

*Job detail: *

*Assist in migration of web sites: *

   - Migrate databases, files, and code to the web hosing cloud service
   - Troubleshoot and fix issues that arise during the migration
   - Assist in the identification and implementation of appropriate hosting
   solutions for non-Drupal sites.

*Build a Drupal distribution that: *

   - Integrates the look and feel developed for the client into a Drupal
   theme.
   - Uses a flexible Panels-based approach that allows end users to easily
   customize sites
   - Integrates University services such as SSO authentication and
   information data services (eg, calendar and course information)

*Required skills:  The consultant will have: *

   - Demonstrated skill in developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP
   implementations in a LAMP environment.
   - Ability to architect Drupal solutions including data, display, and
   information architecture.
   - Experience with commonly used Drupal distributions such as Panopoly.
   - Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with
   Drupal modules such as CTools, Views and Panels.
   - Experience creating custom Drupal modules. • Experience with version
   control, GIT being the preferred technology.
   - Experience building responsive websites using Drupal, HTML5, CSS/CSS3
   and JavaScript frameworks.
   - Familiarity with SQL, relational databases and SAML.
