*Hi,* Hope you are doing well, Please find the below requirement and if you are comfortable and interested please send your updated profile along with contact details ASAP to move forward with submission process *Job Title: Information Security Architect* *Location: Reston, VA* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *Required Skills:* • Assists security management in creating, reviewing and updating the Information Security strategy on a periodic basis, • Assists in the development of new security architectures, security policies, principles and standards as needed by actual or expected business change, • Support the development, prioritization, assessment and implementation of a multi-year security roadmap, including implementation of industry best practice cloud-based solutions. • Partner with other* ISO team members*, delivery teams, and business units to create and maintain application and environment security standards in line with industry best practices and specific business requirements. • Design and help to lead the implementations of *cloud security solutions* such as Web Application* Firewalls, SIEM integrations, monitoring and auditing tools, and more.* • Design modernized application security solutions that support *cloud environment automation, software assessment and pen test automations.* • Interprets business requirements into technical security solution frameworks, • Participates in the *enterprise architecture (EA) community*, and provides strategic guidance during the *EA process,* • Consults with IT Technical Services staff to identify gaps and evaluate, select, install, and configure hardware and software systems that provide appropriate security functions, • Aligns functional/business requirements for security solutions and initiatives and identifies areas to improve security posture, • Assists resource owners and IT staff in the appropriate use of information and in the implementation of necessary computer information security controls and/or systems, • Supports security incident response and follow up on IT related security issues, and participate in investigations of suspected information security misuse or compliance, • Tracks, documents and publishes security notifications related to College Board supported systems software and hardware and classify unresolved security exposures to management, • Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, • Maintains an awareness of existing and proposed, state and federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security. Identifies regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards and procedures, and recommends appropriate changes, • Recommends and implements changes in security policies and practices in accordance with changes in privacy law, or financial sector security practices, • Mentors team members in information security methodologies, frameworks, processes and procedures. Background in implementing* AWS Cloud Security solutions* • Knowledge and experience working with any of the following tools preferred o Web Application* Firewalls, specifically Akamai, Check Point vSec, or Barracuda* *o SafeNet (Gemalto)o Splunk or Sumologic* o Nexpose or similar *cloud-based vulnerability scanners* • Knowledge of *risk assessment procedures, policy formation, role-based authorization methodologies, authentication technologies, and security attack pathologies* • Technical proficiency in security-related hardware and software especially with key IT systems or applications including: o Software *(web server, application servers, databases, and messaging middleware.* o Networking *(LDAP,IP,SSH, SFTP, VPN, Firewall)* o Server *(NT, AIX, Linux)* o Desktop *(Windows, Symantec.
