The Client needs to manage its DEV/OPS tools stack with a position of Release Manager The State of Michigan has identified projects that will use the Sales Force application as the base foundation layer. Currently, release management support and hosting in the Sales Force Government cloud has been provided by vendor resources. The SOM desires to transition these activities into a “center of excellence” (COE) that will be jointly staffed by contract and DTMB staffs. Our initial focus is to acquire expertise to help us establish a release management process using Team Foundation Server (TFS) tools that will promote the following efficiencies: · Enable concurrent and ongoing development streams, with multiple teams of developers in multiple locations, making changes to new and existing Sales Force applications. · Implement usage of a version control solution, providing the ability for development teams to undue changes quickly and easily by ensuring complete traceability and recovery of both configuration and custom components. · Reduce the manual overhead required to deploy code between environments through the usage of automated tools. · Identify potential security and quality issues. · Generate metrics through automation of deployment and testing. · Prove assurance that exactly what was tested and signed off is deployed between environments and ultimately into production through an automated and repeatable approach that minimizes manual steps. *Skills/Experience Required:* - 5 Years of experience leading and maintaining the DevOps tool stack for Salesforce applications. Work with Enterprise Architecture to select DevOps tool stack for State of MI. - 3 Years of knowledge and experience of Ant Scripts - 3 Years of knowledge and experience of build automation tools (Jenkins) - 5 Years of experience driving the process in which DevOps based State of MI salesforce projects operates, iterates and releases - 5 Years of experience in development of a deployment and cutover plan - 5 Years of experience writing deployment scripts, debugging deployments and evaluating potential new tools - 5 Years of experience implementing the core scripts needed to support CI & CD for ongoing applications - 5 Years of experience in developing position descriptions for qualified DevOps RM candidate in order to transition responsibilities to the State of MI. *Note: We are Working with tier-1 Vendor.* Thanks & Regards, Udbhav Mathur Talent Acquisition Specialist Email:- [email protected] <[email protected]> Gtalk: udbhav.intime Tekshapers Inc. – WMBE Firm 1441 E.
