The Security Consultant will assist the security team to develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization's security and privacy. The Security Consultant will advise and assist managers in development and establishment of strategic and tactical information security plans, standards/procedures, and education. He / She work closely with information security staff to monitor, assess, update plans and support the evaluation and implementation of new security technologies for the enterprise environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in IT security, a technical hands-on mindset, and a passion for learning the ins and outs of information security operations for an enterprise environment. *Key Duties:* •Advise and assist management in establishment of strategic and tactical information security plans, policies, procedures, standards, education and training programs. •Manages remediation plans and task lists resulting from security assessments, scans and reviews. •Develops and contributes to the security portions of meetings and projects. •Assist in the design of security services in the enterprise including AV, vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, web application firewalls, SIEM and others. •Coordinate and report on the remediation progress of all Security and Privacy compliance findings. •Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for operational success. •Ensure adherence to security and privacy standards, identify top incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents. *Qualifications:* Eight (8) or more years of experience in an Information Security or Information Technology discipline with demonstrated experience in one or more the following: •Experience providing and validating security requirements related to cloud security for private, public and hybrid •Experience with providing security consulting services for global deployments •Experience providing and validating security requirements related to information system design and implementation •Experience providing and validating security requirements related to a broad range of technologies •Experience conducting risk assessments, security assessments, vulnerability assessments, vendor and third party risk assessments and recommending risk remediation strategies •Experience in the use of tools and methods to identify security exposures and business risks •Knowledge of common information security and risk management standards, such as: NIST, HIPAA, ISO 27000, PCI DSS, ITIL •Knowledge of OWASP top 10 and remediation’s of attacks against web applications along with the ability to convey the risks to IT and business stakeholders •Familiarity with information system attack methods and vulnerabilities •Working experience with the design and engineering of web-based multi-tier information systems and architecture design •Working experience with web technologies, application firewalls and programming languages •Working experience with operating systems and database platforms •Working experience with mobile applications and mobile enterprise application platforms •Excellent written and oral communication skills. *Note: We are Working with tier-1 Vendor.* Thanks & Regards, Udbhav Mathur Talent Acquisition Specialist Email:- [email protected] <[email protected]> Gtalk: udbhav.intime Tekshapers Inc. – WMBE Firm 1441 E.
