Program Management Office (PMO) Lead

Responsible for tracking and managing the overall project plan for the
delivery of the SAP services. Responsible for identifying individuals to
perform work, organizing and directing the efforts of the team on-shore and
offshore, coordinating project team meetings, and reporting on progress the
client executive leadership.



*Primary Responsibilities***

q       Establish and implement an effective Program Management Office
function with effective processes and tools, and ensure consistent
implementation in work streams.

q       Establish and manage the overall program level work plan.

q       Create a realistic and achievable plans that meet the stakeholder
expectations.

q       Take complete ownership and accountability in managing the delivery
of an end-end implementation within the scheduled timeframe and budget.

q       Develop and maintain project budgets and determine appropriate
resources to fill all project positions.

q       Monitor and control actual progress against the plan (i.e., budget
variance, schedule variance, scope variance etc.).

q       Prepare and disseminate the Project work plan and ensure effective
and efficient process for agreeing the 90 day rolling plan in each work
stream.

q       Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders and follow a clearly
defined escalation process.

q       Set day-to-day project operations and direction and resolve issues
that affect release scope, quality, schedule, budget, and resources.

q       Establish and facilitate a process to identify and mitigate issues
impacting the overall implementation.

q       Setting up people, milestones, key dates, and reporting frequencies.



*Support Responsibilities***

q       Determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and
schedule.

q       Develop and/or review estimates and estimating assumptions for the
project's schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models,
best practices, and past experience. The resulting estimates account for all
activities in the project scope, including project management and
application development tasks, software quality assurance reviews, and
vendor and contract management activities.

q       Define team member roles and expectations, and ensure timely
feedback. Ensure that project resources receive any necessary training and
are used effectively.

q       Review, and be responsible for, the overall development and
integration of requirements.

q       Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the
process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and
that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget,
quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.

q       Define the project iterations strategy. Manage and evaluate
iterations.

q       Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Management Plan,
including the configuration management, risk management, issue management,
and communication plans.

q       Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to
commitment are communicated to all affected team members.

q       Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at
different locations. Manage relationships with all vendors and
sub-contractors. Monitor their progress and adherence to the contract.

q       Ensure that the project team follows all quality assurance
processes, including periodic reviews and transitions.

q       Review and manage all changes to the requirements through a formally
defined scope change process.

q       Represent the project team at client meetings. Obtain buy-in from
senior management for all key project plans, commitments, and changes
including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope
changes.
