C2c (max.) The Senior Information Security Analyst works directly with business and IT staff for any/all IT security-related matters. In large part, the analyst will ensure compliance to security standards and best practices for new applications and infrastructures with a concentration on the Unix/Network security area. *Responsibilities: * 1.Perform in-depth security reviews for all deployed projects/applications. 2.Monitor for security incidents. 3.Maintain and improve security posture of the Unix environment. 4.Troubleshoot security related problems. 5.Maintain security awareness on the part of IT functional units and other business units. 6.Develop, document and implement data security procedures. 7.Perform covert investigations upon request utilizing forensically sound methods. 8.Develop security project schedules as needed. 9.Monitor and ensure compliance. *Min. Skills/Abilities: * 1.Strong investigation/analytical skills. 2.Strong understanding of Unix/Linux OS and network security vulnerabilities/remediation. 3.Strong understanding of Unix security and admin. 4.Strong knowledge of Microsoft O/S and technologies. 5.Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and firewalls. 6.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7.Knowledge of network and host security assessment tools. 8.Formal training or work experience in security tools (scanners, Intrusion Detection Systems, and security analysis tools). 9.Interpersonal and relationship management skills. 10.Formal training or work experience in security admin for at least 3 tech areas (e.g. LAN/WAN, NT Network, UNIX, Novell, MS Exchange, Lotus Notes). 11.Proven leadership skills. 12.
