Please see details below…the client is sticking to the job requirement.* We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be a member of the QACFT team that provides an end-to-end solution for including CMS and residential gateways. The QA Engineer will play a central role in understanding customer requirements, scope appropriate deliverables, review RFP's, provide support for complex projects, and adhere to project timelines and technical deliverables. The candidate must provide technical leadership, hands-on testing, and troubleshooting products. This role requires automation, building, testing and releasing customer configurations into the Integration, and Staging environments as well as releasing approved changes into Production. The QA Engineer must communicate internally and externally at multiple levels with ongoing customer support. The candidate must be an effective communicator that can develop a strong working relationship. Candidates must be highly motivated, work well with others, work independently, work in a fast paced environment, and eager to learn new technologies. Perform integration testing for products including both CMS and residential gateways. Design, develop, and execute test cases through both manual and automated testing to ensure quality and coverage. *Automate and create test suites in Python framework. * Troubleshoot, isolate, report defects, and regress software fixes for new and existing products. Work closely with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Sales. Ensure that software solutions are tested and deployed in accordance with customer requirements. Assist in creating automated test procedures, test processes, including documenting procedures to ensure quality improvement. Investigate and resolve web services that can be access over a network or a remote system. *Execute, diagnose, and test JAVA APIs. * Work effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of customer's organization. Clarify, understand and resolve customer technical issues by communicating clearly, efficiently, and consistently in conference calls or via e-mail. Work with customers' senior technical representatives and senior management in defining and characterizing new product capabilities necessary to meet customer requirements. Write and present technical information to engineers, partners, and customers. This position may perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Computer Science or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience in Telecom or Networking in Quality Assurance or Software Development.
