Here is the job description: *Title: Cognos Production Support* *Location: Hartford CT* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Requirements: *At least 5 years experience in performing administrative activities in DW/BI Platform using Cognos 8 platform and databases like DB2/Teradata/Oracle on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms. Knowledge & Hands-on experience in Installation & Configuration of Cognos tool sets. Knowledge in performing optimal performance and fail-over strategies in Cognos. Perform Cognos Administration for multiple BI environments including Security, software installations, configuration updates and troubleshooting the environment. Work with Business Partners on troubleshooting and debugging issues as they come in. Under the direction of the Cognos Production Support Manager, this person will assist in the development of best practices, procedures and policies. In addition this person will provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for all applications that are deployed in the Cognos Center of Excellence environment.
