Job Title:Sr. *QA Automation Engineer (PERL/Python)*
Location: NYC
Duration: 6 Months
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. QA Engineer with extensive server-side
test automation experience, utilizing Perl or Python. The individual will be
responsible for producing significant and measurable results in QA
efficiency and the training and mentoring of the QA team.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
• Design, implement and maintain the QA Automation framework and test
scenarios.
• Create readable, maintainable, high performance automation scripts
utilizing Perl or Python (Emphasis will be on completing the
functional/regression suite, with load/performance tests as time permits).
• Provide training to other employees on testing best automation practices.
Qualified candidates should detail their experience with establishing and
realizing their ideal QA framework.
Senior QA or Software development role experience
Required 5 Years
Experience in developing/maintaining software testing automation
frameworks Required 5 Years
Prior Python or Perl scripting experience
Required
5 Years
Thorough understanding of object-oriented principles
Required 5 Years
Experience testing in cross-platform environment - Windows, Solaris,
Linux Required 5 Years
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, databases and Oracle
Required 3 Years
Experience in shell and windows scripting is a plus
Desired
Proven ability to translate detailed requirements into test plans and
cases Required 5 Years
Knowledge of DHCP and DNS protocols

Experience using Unix-based source control and software development tools
