Location - North Chicago Duration - 4 to 6 months Rate - $45/hr (max) Client is seeking a person who will support the web server environment and provide installation, configuration, and support of applications and their data management requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, tuning, maintaining, and monitoring application environments (including application pools) in IIS; recommending and implementing hardware and/or software upgrades; Client operates high-availability web-sites containing multiple application servers, and web-server front-ends in a load-balanced environment. The web-sites are developed in Microsoft technologies (ASP, ASP.Net using C#, SQL Server). The web-sites also consume Java web-services hosted on AS400 server.
