- * Mobile Platform Development as Senior Software Engineer
Linux/C/C++/Wireless* **
- Experience in development and debugging of software components on
mobile handset platforms (C language) in the embedded domain.
Expertise in
*Linux* and *RTXC* based WCDMA/GSM mobile platforms with knowledge of
hardware components, OS internals and basics of wireless protocol stack.
- Extensive debugging experience using Trace 32(Lauterbach)
- Provided solutions to critical issues in schedule time.
- Profiling of software components in real time environments.
- Worked through all the phases of SDLC, with experience in design,
and requirement analysis apart from coding.
- Analysis of software components to estimate the changes required for
change in hardware for upcoming platforms.
- Active participation in project estimation, planning and
configuration management in the development projects.
- Good working experience (both onsite and offshore) with teams across
US, France and India.
- Work with LG Electronics for four years in the field of Mobile
Application Development
- Experience in development and debugging of mobile applications for
CDMA and GSM handsets.
- Extensive work on MMS Client for CDMA handsets including database
and TCP/IP network interface layer.
- Instrumental in providing timely solutions to critical issues,
including end user issues.
- Lead a team of 3 people to develop new utilities for new operator
requirement.
- Worked on SyncML DS client and server for GSM handset.
- Mentored fresh recruits into the team.
- Worked through all phases of SDLC, with experience in software
design, unit test cases, integration test cases and execution apart from
coding.
- Successfully handled KPMG project audit along with the Team Leader.
- Active participation in project estimation, planning and
configuration management.
- Good working experience (both onsite and offshore) with teams across
US, South Korea and India.

*Consultant must have UMTS/GSM product development in terms of radio design
bench testing/debug*
Performs RF systems requirement analysis, design, implementation, test, and
evaluation of RF components, analog components, mixed signal components, and
wireless systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving, logic, and analytical skills
Participates in the development of product and RF system design documents.
Implements, debugs, and test RF designs as directed.
Uses engineering software tools and RF test equipment to perform engineering
tasks.
Analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to
determine optimal design and architecture.
Analyzes RF test data and reports if design meets functional and performance
specifications
Develops and writes test procedures. Identifies and investigates use of
appropriate development tools, including design and simulation software
tools and test equipment.
Identifies and debugs customer technical problems and issues, providing
timely feedback to the customer as required
Primary customer interface for RF issues and provides on-site support for
customer when needed
