Description: Our client has an immediate opening for a "Contractor" Biostatistician who will provide all aspects of design and statistical analyses and reporting on clinical development projects. Insure timely completion of statistical analyses and reports. Responsibilities: Participates in the design, analysis and reporting of research studies (Phase II - Phase IV); provides consultation on experimental design and statistical research approaches, requirements and scientific standards. Develops statistical analysis plans and reporting specifications; advises as to choice of statistical analysis strategies and presentation of statistical results. Uses a variety of advanced statistical software, methods and techniques to gather, analyze and interpret research data; advises and assists in the development of inferences and conclusions, as appropriate. Prepares a variety of comprehensive statistical reports according to presentation requirements; participates in preparation of documents for regulatory submissions; participates in preparation of manuscript preparation, to include preparation of data summaries and statistical results, for publication. Experience: Master's or higher degree in Statistics or related field. Working knowledge of SAS and proficient in SAS statistical procedures Three to five years experience with pharmaceutical/clinical trials data directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above. Strong knowledge of SAS programming and/or other statistical software. Ability to analyze, interpret, and draw conclusions from complex statistical information. Knowledge and understanding of the principles, concepts, methods and standards of statistical research. Knowledge of programming logic and codes. Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet and/or presentation software. Knowledge of scientific reporting and manuscript preparations requirements and standards.
