Here is the job description: Title: Oracle / BPEL DBA Location: Orlando, FL Duration: Long Term Skills: Oracle DBA with BPEL *Responsibilities: ** Following best practice guidelines for database creation and security. * Coordinate efforts with production environments and teams, during creation, development, and application production rollout. * Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to other DBA*s for ongoing support and backup purposes. * Implement database objects into the development environments that are used for the purpose of an application development effort. This includes tables, views, indexes, sequences, etc. from approved information given by data architects or vendors of purchased systems. * Work as a part of an application development team, providing monitoring and optimizing the performance of application database and offering assistance to application developers in optimizing their applications. * Work with application and data architecture to ensure adherence with development, data modeling, and design standards. * Defining physical backup requirements in coordination with the infrastructure team responsible for system backups.
