*Work Location:* *Phoenix**, AZ* *Estimated Duration:* *12 months* *Need LOCAL candidates for in person interviews. * * * *Skills / Experience * § Advanced Enterprise Java Development (J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JavaBeans, JDBC, DHTML, XML, etc.) § Classic ASP Development (ASP, VBScript, Jscript, basic IIS configuration and administration) § Expert-level database design, database normalization. § Oracle PL/SQL Development (Schema creation, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, Connectivity) § Basic Oracle administration tasks (schema backups, migrating schemas into another database, running statistics). Knowledge of Oracle system tables and how they can be used in troubleshooting, administration contexts. § Client-Side Web Development (HTML, Javascript, CSS) § IBM Websphere Development/Deployment § Basic Unix scripting, setting up automatic job execution using cron. § XSLT creation § Experience with XML API's such as DOM, SAX, and Xerces. § Basic understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Object-Oriented Design principles and how to apply them § Experience with developing "stateless" web applications that can run in load-balanced environments. § Able to remain focused on deliverables while incorporating changing/undocumented user requirements into the application § Able to produce technical specifications derived from business requirements. * * *Tools Experience * § NetBeans IDE (Java Development) § Eclipse v2 & v3 would also be acceptable § Toad, Oracle SQL Developer (Oracle Development) § Apache Tomcat (Development Application Server) § Microsoft IIS (Application Server for ASP applications) § MS Visual SourceSafe (Program Source Control) § MS Visual Web Developer Express 2005/2008 (ASP's, Microsoft-based web development) § MS Access 2003 (Advance Design, temporary utilities, etc.) * * *Deliverables:* Develop, test and support additional functionality for the the 2010 Demand Planning reporting system for HITS services globally.
