Mid Level Oracle DBA Manage mission critical corporate applications. Setup and maintain Oracle parallel server in a Sun cluster environment. Monitoring and tuning database, OS, and cluster performance and capacity using Oracle and UNIX shell script. Evaluate and recommend software and hardware components to improve system performance. Setup backup and recovery strategy, and maintain routine backup job, and perform recovery as needed. Write SQL and PL/SQL to support marketing report needs. Coordinate with System Administrators, end users, vendors, and other stake holders to resolve database related issues. Required Skills: spacer Primary Skills: Hands on experience and proficiency in Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid control, Recovery Manager (RMAN), Real Application Clusters.
