framework (ADF).
- Working knowledge and understanding of Oracle Webcenter Suite .
- Knowledge and experience in Oracle SOA Suite will be a plus.
- The candidate should have implemented at least 2 enterprise web
applications developed on ADF/Webcenter suite.

Core and Technical Competencies:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience:
- 5 years experience in data processing including experience in the
operational support of a Global IT infrastructure
- *Primary duty is to oversee and support an organization's
infrastructure systems such as File and Print Services, Email, Network OS
and Applications. Perform maintenance and support of the availability and
functionality of these systems. Maintenance (includes OS Patching and
upgrades), implementation rollouts of new systems, L1,2&3 break fix *
Monitor the clients Global IT infrastructure using available management
systems to resolve moderately complex technical problems.
- *Coordinate and control the monitoring of the Global IT Infrastructure
using Netcool, CA TNG, Mercury BAC, ProactiveNet, EMC Smarts *
- *Has full technical knowledge of the Microsoft Windows NT4/2000/2003,
Microsoft Exchange 5.5,2000, 2003, Solaris 9, Novell, Legato Networker. *
- Monitor enterprise backups to ensure data recoverability, troubleshoot
backup failures including software and hardware issues.
- *Perform SAN and Tape file restores. *
- *Coordinate and control the troubleshooting of failed systems,
components, and sub components using available diagnostic systems and tools
such as Dell Open Manage, HP Top Tools. *
- Escalate high severity issues to the Service Manager where appropriate
and ensure corrective action is taken to minimize outages and service
interruptions to the customer.
- Work with hardware and software vendors to obtain software patches hot
fixes and hardware replacement
- *Provide reports, problem record updates using Remedy and Service
Center (Peregrine) for change management, and documentation updates as
required. *
- *Provide updates to the Change Management Configuration Database (CMDB)
as needed. *
- Work closely with other disciplines, such as Network and Mainframe
operators, to resolve complex cross platform issues.
- Serve as escalation point for Tier1/helpdesk issues.

Core and Technical Competencies:
Oversees, configures, and supports an organization's local area network
(LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a
network system.
Maintains the network by performing the necessary maintenance to support the
availability and functionality of the network's hardware (routers, switches
etc) and monitoring the network's performance (traffic, bandwidth,
capacity).
To be classified in this level the employee's primary responsibility must be
to evaluate clients' requests for new or modified voice and/or data systems
and software and hardware. Develop telecommunication network designs and
technical implementation plans and recommend alternative solutions to
clients to improve service.
Related responsibilities typically include the following:
Assist clients and development area management in the design and
implementation of new or modified networks and make recommendations to
improve service.
Participate in site studies for central and remote locations.
Serve as the point of contact for moderate to complex (level 2 to 3) problem
resolution.
Plan and coordinate installation dates with clients, development staff,
network engineering and vendors. Follow-up with clients to ensure quality
service level and resolve outstanding issues.
Provide input into the evaluation of vendor proposals.
Track projects and report status to appropriate management.
Monitor the operation of telecommunications networks and systems to ensure
proper utilization of lines, hardware and software.
Prepare and maintain technical specifications and documents, drawings, and
system documentation.
