Here is the job description: Title: VC++ Programmer Location: Bellevue WA Duration: 6 Months The Windows Development Engineer will work with a team supporting an existing Windows based application. The candidate must have experience developing in C and C++ MFC based Windows applications. The candidate may be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of server side and web based components. Experience with Enterprise search products (Autonomy, Recommend, Vivisimo, dtSearch) is a plus. Perform and/or lead software development and support tasks as part of the development team. Participate and/or lead requirements analysis, engineering sizings, object oriented analysis/design/implementations. Be able to create and articulate design/implementation options and tradeoffs to peers, tech leads, and management. Create and manage individual development schedules. Promote and use ?Best Practices? for software development. Ability to work in teams. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Strong C, Visual C++, and MFC experience required. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Reports to a manager of development.
