*Title: Sr.Web Designer Duration: 4 month Contract to hire Pay Rate: $45/Hr C2C All Incl(Negotiable) Location: Tempe, AZ * *Job Description: * Client is looking for a *Sr. Web Designer* who has a strong portfolio and has experience working with large scale applications and enterprise companies. Must have extensive real world web design experience with solid educational and creative background. (No garage web designers). Selected candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary design team that includes, in addition to the web designer, the following roles: software engineers, interaction designers and marketing professionals. Selected candidate will be expected to perform design duties in collaboration with these other roles. Designer should expect that input from these other roles will typically impose constraints on the design space, and should welcome that. Selected candidate is expected to demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for understanding the business, and a positive, 'can-do', attitude *Requirements:* - BA or BS Degree in Graphics Design, Multimedia Design, Information Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field - 3-6 years of experience as a web or user interface designer. - Expertise in (X)HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Actionscript and Flex experience are highly preferred. - Expert with graphic design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
