A Product Specialist (PROJECT MANAGEMENT, SYSTEMS ANALYSIS, DATABASE
ADMINISTRATION, AND CLIENT/SERVER & WEB-ENABLED APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT) for
their TRENTON, NEW JERSEY
*COMPLETE DESCRIPTION: *
The NJDHS-DMAHS Product Specialist will be an expert in the technical
development, execution, and integration of new and existing Medicaid
information systems with particular focus on the Division's Premium Support
and Medicaid Inquiry systems.
The NJDHS-DMAHS Product Specialist will:
Manage data conversion processes, integration efforts and functional
requirement enhancements of new and existing independent systems into a
comprehensive enterprise architecture.
Complete the migration of Oracle Developer applications to Oracle
Application Server.
Manage, track, delegate, mentor, and participate in the migration of the
Premium Support application system from Oracle Developer 6i to Oracle
Developer 10g.
Manage, re-design, and develop a new, web-based Medicaid Inquiry system
based on the current system written using Oracle Developer 6i. The new
system will utilize Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.
Develop project plans and schedules, and assign tasks.
Manage and monitor the actual activity against the plan to insure that the
project is completed on schedule and according to the project requirements.
Determine business requirements and design and develop functional
components.
Design and manage user acceptance testing for each of the modules within the
project.
Be responsible for system and training documentation.
Coordinate, approve, and implement enhancements to business and logical data
models to make the appropriate changes to the physical data model.
Be responsible for robust operation of Division Oracle databases.
Be responsible for optimizing database queries, scripts, and procedures.
Work with network administrators and security personnel to ensure that
applications and data are secured according to the Department's database,
application and network security standards.
Review system components for adherence to the industry best practices and
Division development standards.
Recommend and participate in the development of further best practices and
standards in regards to database structures, database procedures, database
element encryption, and database access auditing.
